60 people hurt as buses collide head-on in Jhapa
BHADRAPUR: As many as 60 passengers were injured when two buses collided with each other at Kanta area of Birtamod in Jhapa district of eastern Nepal.
The two buses were travelling from opposite directions when the collision occurred, informed the Jhapa District Police Office (DPO).
The injured are receiving treatment at a local B & C Hospital.
Police are collecting a comprehensive account of the state of the injured passengers.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
