JHAPA: A biker died when a bus hit a motorbike he was riding on at Mechinagar Municipality in Jhapa district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Tara Gurung (41) of Mechinagar Municipality-1.

The incident occurred when the bus (Ko 1 Kha 3075) hit the two-wheeler (Me 6 7356) yesterday night.

The District Traffic Office, Jhapa, said that seriously injured Gurung breathed his last  while receiving treatment at the Birtamod-based B and B Hospital.
