DAMAULI: A commuter bus has knocked down a pedestrian in Bimalnagar, Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun district on Sunday night.

According to police, the deceased is identified as Bikas Gandharva of Bhanu Municipality-1, Tanahun who was hit by the bus (Ga 1 Kha 7373), heading from Beni of Myagdi to Nepalgunj.

Gandharva died while undergoing treatment in Damauli Hospital at around 10:30 pm, confirmed the District Police Office, Tanahun.

Police have taken control of the bus driver and bus for further action.
