Kathmandu, September 23:

The Constituent Assembly regulations draft committee, chaired by CA member Narayanman Bijukchhe, held discussion on the draft today as well.

According to Bijukchhe, the committee would finalise the regulations within a week. “We are conducting full-fledged discussion on this important document. Therefore, it will take some time to finalise the regulations,” he said. Quoting some CA members, Bijukchhe said since the CA was an elected and sovereign body, there should not be a state restructure commission as provisioned under article 138 of the Interim Constitution.
