CA session stalled again
Kathmandu, July 3:
The legislative session of the Constituent Assembly was disrupted today for the seventh consecurive day. When chair Kul Bahadur Gurung tried to resume the meeting, the Madhesi CA members created hurdles by chanting slogans against the seven-party alliance.
Though members of other parties protested the act of Madhesi CA members, the session could not proceed and Gurung declared the meeting postponed till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, members of 13 fringe parties today criticised the other parties for denying them to speak in the parliament. Organising a press conference, Rastriya Janashakti Party, CPN (Unified), Chure Bhabar Ekata Party Nepal and RPP lamented the disruption in the parliament. They said the three major parties were making the sovereign Constituent Assembly “ineffective”.
