RAJBIRAJ: Minister for Irrigation Balkrishna Khand today said there was no deadline applicable for the Constituent Assembly.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Saptari chapter of Nepali Congress, he opined that the term of the CA would never be over, for its being the supreme body of the country.

"The Interim Constitution can always be amended (to reset the deadline)," the minister said, dismissing rumours that the national army would take over if the statue was not be drafted by the agreed time.

Regarding the state of his party, Minister Khand said groupism would never end in NC but added minor disputes would not make much of a difference to the party.
