Cabinet will take full shape by Monday: CPN MC Chair
CHITWAN: CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the name-list of ministers would be finalised on Sunday and they will take the oath of office at 3:00 pm on Monday.
At a press meet jointly organised by Press Centre and Press Chautari in Chitwan today, Chairman Dahal has clarified that there is no problem whatsoever between the parties regarding selection of cabinet ministers, and has urged the media to disseminate news only after confirming authenticity of such.
"We have almost finalised the names of the ministers; only some issues are left to be resolved as they are to be settled jointly between both parties," he shared. Dahal also added that names of both experienced and new members would be sent for the post of ministers.
He said, "Only today morning, I spoke with the Prime Minister, and we have informed the President about the oath-taking ceremony. With the ministers taking the oath of office on Monday, the Cabinet will get its full shape."
On the occasion, the CPN MC Chair also informed that Chitwan would have its representation in the central government.
On a separate note, Dahal said, the unification of UML and Maoist Centre would be a historic moment. He urged the common people to be cautious of any kind of untoward incident that may happen during such a crucial point of time in the country's history.
