Nawalparasi, May 17

A campaign was launched against drug abuse among youths in Sunawal Municipality, Nawalparasi by Sunawal Community Research Centre, in coordination with Sunawal Municipality and Sunawal Area Police Office.

The campaign plans to raise awareness among parents and teenagers through various awareness-generating programmes.

Umanath Pokhrel, the chairperson of the centre, said, “As children spend a bulk of their time at home, guardians are responsible for the child’s welfare and to ensure no child takes up bad habits.”
