A majority of province assembly and parliamentary election candidates from Tanahun have yet to submit the details of their poll expenses.

District Election Office, Tanahun, said only four parliamentary election candidates out of 11 from Constituency 1 and five parliamentary election candidates out of 10 in Constituency 2 have submitted the details of their election expenses.

District Election Officer Mahesh Sharma said only five province assembly candidates out of nine from Constituency 1 Ka, five out of seven in Constituency 1 Kha, and four out of 10 in province assembly constituency 2 Ka and two out of five in Constituency 2 Kha had submitted the details of election expenses.

A non-gazatted officer at District Election Office Hari Prasad Lamichhane said candidates from small parties had not submitted their election expenses details. He added the candidates from big parties had already submitted their election expenses details. He said poll candidates from small parties found were found negligent even as the office had informed time and again for the same.
