NAWALPARASI: A biker and a pillion rider were killed when a car hit a bike they were riding on at Mukundapur of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Santosh Khadka and Naresh Pandey of Amarapuri, Nawalparasi.

According to the Area Police Office, Gaidakot, the incident occurred when the four-wheeler (on-test) en route to Kathmandu from Sunawal hit the two-wheeler (Lu 22 Pa 8508) heading towards Amarapuri from Narayangarh yesterday night.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
