KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2
Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the government to take immediate action against those involved in the embezzlement of Shera Durbar land in Nuwakot district.
Speaking at today's meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives, Chairperson Dahal pledged full support to reclaim the Shera Durbar land for the government.
"Take action if activities were conducted against the law. I will commend the government if the Shera Durbar land is reclaimed, similar to the Lalita Niwas case," he stated.
The former Prime Minister emphasized the need to bring anyone involved in illegally transferring state or government land into personal ownership under the ambit of legal action.
He also called for action against those responsible for other scams.
