BIRGUNJ: The dismissed workers of the Birgunj Sugar Factory and Agricultural Tools Factory have paralysed transportation in Gandak Chowk, Birgunj, of the Tribhuwan Highway, from Thursday morning. They had carried out the chakkajam on Wednesday as well.

They have been demanding for legal retirement and necessary compensatation as they had been laid off abruptly before seven years.
