KATHMANDU: The Chefs Association of Nepal -- an umbrella organisation of Nepali chefs -- has deposited Rs 3.3 million to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund coinciding its inception day.

Organsing a press conference here today, the Association shared that it has aided Rs 3.3 million to the quake survivors to mark 20th years of its establishment.

On the occasion, Association's general secretary Suresh Chandra Basnet informed that Nepal has received membership of World Association of Chefs to be effective from 2016.

The Nepal Association has so far the strength of 1,200 life members and general members.
