PANCHTHAR: A child went missing after being swept away by the Hewa Khola in Phidim Municipality of Panchthar district on Wednesday.

The missing child has been identified as eight-year-old Risav Katuwal.

According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, Katuwal accidentally fell into the rivulet while he was playing yesterday evening.

Police and locals have started search for the missing child but to no avail, said DSP Nakul Pokharel of the DPO.
