CHITWAN, JANUARY 18
Three persons have been arrested on the charge of demanding Rs 1.5 million in ransom, issuing life threat to the victim.
Police arrested Saroj Sunar, 27, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-21, Deepak BK, 26, of ward no 1 and Sagar BK, 25, of ward no 26.
They had been threatening Karan Gupta of Rupandehi district, currently doing business at Bharatpur Metropolis-1, using an Ncell number.
Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shreeram Bhandari said investigation into the case was underway.
