Kathmandu, January 16:

The Catholic Mission, Nepal and the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Students Movement, Nepal (MGOCSM-N) is organising the First Ecumenical Christian Youth Convention in Nepal.

The two-day joint convention will begin on March 7 on the Catholic Church premises in Bhairahawa. Bishop Antony Sharma, who happens to be the first bishop — apostolic prefecture of the Catholic Church in Nepal will preside over the convention while Geevarghese Mar Coorilose will be the guest speaker. He will also conduct Holy Qurbana on the second day of the convention.

The convention is being organised by Fr John Kulathinkal, parish priest of the Catholic Mission in Bhairahawa and the Christian medical students of the Universal College of Medical Sciences.
