CIAA committed to rooting out corruption, says Pathak

Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Raj Narayan Pathak, today said that the anti-graft body is willing to work hand in hand with other stakeholders to stamp out corruption from the country.

Speaking at an orientation and discussion held with district chiefs of government offices in Rautahat district headquarters Gaur, Pathak said, “Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has launched a mission to stamp out corruption and is ready to walk hand in hand with others to accomplish this mission and improve the country’s image in the world.” He also urged civil servants to carry out their responsibilities with complete honesty.

“As the government has introduced a provision of rewarding civil servants working honestly, they need to work with utmost integrity. Otherwise, the anti-graft body will punish those who do not carry out their responsibilities sincerely,” he said.

On the occasion, Chief District Officer Narahari Baral said CIAA’s recent activities had helped curb corruption in the district. CIAA officials from the Hetauda-based regional office and the Bardibas contact office were also present on the occasion.
