Dhadhing, November 20:

Dhading-based human rights organisations have condemned the abduction of students by the Maoists.

According to the network of all local rights bodies, CINET Nepal, the Maoists had abducted Rajbir Gurung,16, a student of Ganesh Himal Secondary School and Kaji Tamang,18, from Nange village of Marpak village development committee-9 in Dhadhing a month ago.

The whereabouts of the two boys remains unknown, CINET Nepal said.

The Maoists on Friday also abducted Keshav Aryal, 14, of Nalang Aarbuchhap and Ramji Nepal, 13, of Sunaulabazaar-7 village development committee, while Chitra Bahadur Sunar, a student of Mahakali Secondary School, Tasharpu and Kabi Aryal, 19, of the same place were abducted yesterday.

“We are concerned about the abduction of the students from different parts of Dhadhing district by the Maoists,” stated a press statement issued here today by CINET Nepal.

CINET Nepal has asked for the immediate release of all students.
