DHARAN, SEPTEMBER 4
Chief Minister Bhim Prasad Acharya of Province 1 has claimed that the present government will live through the no-confidence vote in the Provincial Assembly.
At a time when speculations are rife about whether the recently formed government led by Bhim Acharya will continue to last in the wake of the recent bifurcation of CPN-UML, CM Acharya said his government would not only survive the no-trust motion, but would continue to exist even longer. "Let alone living through the no-confidence motion, the present government will be here even to hold the upcoming elections," claimed the chief minister.
"For one, the present government was formed as per the people's aspirations, and again as political parties are aware of the risk of the country slipping into further instability due to more political instability, I am hopeful that other political parties too will support the government," he added. He was speaking at the inauguration of the newly opened Bride Feed Pvt Ltd on the premises of Dharan Industrial Estate.
Further, CM Acharya pledged that the government would work by giving high priority to health and safety of people. "Maybe the government won't be able to meet every expectation of the people amidst the extraordinary situations of the present time marked by the unprecedented COVID crisis and political instability, but the government will definitely work by keeping health and safety of people in high priority," he said.
The chief minister also tried to assure the industry fraternity of his government's support.
