POKHARA: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has stressed the need of collaborative efforts from all sides and agencies concerned for the development of tourism sector.

At an interaction with the representatives of tourism related agencies in Pokhara on Wednesday evening on the behalf of Pokhara Tourism Council, he said as Nepal has vast potential of tourism it can be a major basis of economic prosperity of the country.

The construction of Pokhara International Airport has been slowed because its foundation stone was laid before the preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), Minister Shahi said, assuring that the construction will take pace once the technical works are completed.
