Action Aid has started community reconstruction campaign in e-villages of Kavre.

Local Community Development Campaign Nepal, in association with Action Aid, on Friday announced the formal launch of the project by holding a discussion with stakeholders in Dhulikhel.

Various developmental programmes were carried out in four VDCs of Mandan area and three VDCs of Deupur area in the past seven years in Kavre.

The program will continue until 2018 and focus on reconstruction, women rights, participation of marginalised communities, social accountability and good governance.

Community Development Campaign Chairperson Krishna Prasad Sapkota said they were planning to expand the cultivation of various crops besides various developmental activities.
