BAITADI: Nepali Congress Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma on Saturday said that the NC is moving to the path of its transformation.

Addressing a training programme organized by Nepal Tarun Dal Baitadi, Spokesperson Sharma also said that the cadres should not be disappointed as the party would play the role of strong opposition and oversee the government's functions.

It was the NC which brought Maoists to peace process from the forest; provided leadership to promulgate the Nepal Constitution and successfully conducted all three tiers of elections and played important role for country development.

Furthermore, Sharma called for all NC cadres to move ahead with unity in the context when the two communist parties have merged into one.
