Construction of Integrated Model Settlement in final stage

Construction work of Santapur Integrated Model Settlement in Chandrapur Municipality, Rautahat, has reached the final stage. This is the fourth project of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation.
The foundation is building 47 two-storeyed houses for 47 families, one community hall, one primary school and a temple at a cost of 59.5 million rupees for the Musahar community of the municipality. Construction work of a view tower is also in its final stage. The foundation aims to hand over the houses to the Musahars by February 7.
Settlement Management Committee Coordinator Satyanarayan Majhi said he had never imagined he would see such a settlement in the locality. He thanked the foundation for helping the Musahar community and bringing them closer through the integrated settlement. As many as 50 infrastructure, including primary school, community hall, temple and a view tower, have been constructed for the integrated settlement.
Meanwhile, Founder of the foundation Sita Ram Kattel said that he would hand over the settlement to the target group on time. Kattel added that donor agencies were impressed by the design of the settlement and quite satisfied with the work.
