Cop caught red-handed

Janakpurdham, November 29

A team deployed from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Bardibas Office, today caught a police inspector red-handed with bribe money of Rs 90,000 from a hotel in Janakpurdham.

The anti-graft team caught Inspector Ram Kishor Sah with the bribe money from a hotel at Ramananda Chowk.

Sah was stationed at Sarlahi District Police Office. But, he was deployed for a special security team for the security of Ramjanaki Wedding Festival in Janakpurdham.

Sah had promised a woman gas trader to settle a case involving her.

The woman had informed the police before she booked a room at the hotel.

When Inspector When Sah went to the hotel room to receive the money, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority team caught him red-handed with the bribe money, said Dhanusha SP Sekhar Khanal.

We have launched a probe into Sah, said the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.
