Gaur in-charge of the CPN-Maoist, Amar Shah, on Thursday accused the police of failing to check incidents of robbery and dacoity that are on the rise in Rautahat district for the last 15 days. At a press conference in Gaur, Shah said: “Not a single dacoit has been nabbed even when hundreds of houses have been robbed.” He suspected the hand of security personnel in the incidents. He also warned that the Maoists’ PLA soldiers would desert cantonments to provide security.
