Siraha, December 10:

Youth Force cadres nabbed Lahan based Land Revenue Officer Madan Kaji Jha red handed taking bribe for registering a land. The YF cadres also smothered his face with black colour.

Land Revenue officer Madan Kumar Jha had been asking Rs 15,000 as bribe money for registering the land in the name of Gopal Sewa Samiti in Siraha. Later, Jha was taken throughout the city with his anointed face. The YF cadres then handed Jha over to the ward police office of Lahan.

According to the president of Gopal Sewa Samiti, Bishweshwor Yadav, the team led by YF central committee member Satya Narayan Yadav had arrested Jha while he was

asking money for transferring the ownership of the 3 kattha and 11 dhur of land in the Samittee’s name.

However, Jha claimed that he has not taken bribe from anyone saying that people had misbehaved with him.
