ACHHAM: Ration contractors of Ranasher Battalion of the Nepali Army have filed a corruption case at the District Administraiton Office Achham. The contractors have accused of corruption in the ration contract process. A group of eight contractors, who filed the case, have demanded an investigation into the case. They have argued the bid of the contractor mentioning higher price was approved while those bidding with lower price were discarded. The contractors have also accused that JL Construction had bribed officials at the battalion. However, battalion chief Kiran KC said that the accusation was baseless. He said, "Everything has been carried out legally," he added.
