Country on path to stability, progress: Veep

Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun today said the country had taken the path of stability and development ending the prolonged transition phase.

Inaugurating the 31st Annual General Assembly of Narayani Transportation Entrepreneurs Association in Hetauda today, VP Pun sought contribution and support from all corners to take the country on the path to development and prosperity.

Owing to increasing road accidents in the country, he stressed the need of a concrete plan to curb road accidents. He urged timely completion of various road construction and repair projects.

VP Pun also underscored the need of reforms in government offices to ensure quality and quick service to service seekers.

He lauded the contribution of Narayani Transportation Entrepreneurs Association for its contribution to the development sector.

The AGM will elect new leadership for the next three years. Former chairpersons Hira Lal Shrestha and Gokarna Parajuli are in the election fray for the new leadership.
