POKHARA: Police in Kaski district have arrested a man and his wife in possession of 1 kg and 458 gm hashish from a hotel located at Lakeside, Pokhara of the district.

The detainees are Shyam Rai (44) and his wife Asha (43) of Jugu VDC-4 of Solukhumbu district.

According to the District Police Office, police acting on a tip-off had held the duo from room number 503 of Peace Hotel.

Police said both will be charged in a drug-related case.
