Court summons plaintiff Adhikari

District Court Chitwan today ordered plaintiff Noor Prasad Adhikari, the brother of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Bhujel, Gorkha, who was murdered in Chitwan in 2004, to present himself at the court.
As one of the plaintiffs, Nanda Prasad, the father of the victim had died, the court ordered another plaintiff Noor Prasad to be present at the court, said the court’s information officer Gambhir Ghimire.
The case will be heard by judge Kabi Prasad Neupane.
The court had ordered the plaintiff and witnesses to be present for statements on March 8 for the first time. Though the witnesses had appeared at the court, Noor Prasad has not appeared at the court so far.
After the statements of the witnesses on April 17 and 18, the date for hearing was fixed for May 5.
Krishna Prasad of Bhujel, Gorkha, was murdered after he was abducted in Chitwan while he was going to meet his grandfather.
A murder case had been filed at District Court Chitwan.
Immediately after the incident, his father Nanda Prasad had filed an FIR and his brother Noor Prasad had filed another FIR against 13 persons one-and-a-half year after the incident.
District Court Chitwan had released seven of the 13 murder accused on bail and four others on date on April 14, 2014, whereas two others who were accused of the murder, have not come in contact with the court.
One of the absconding persons Rudra Acharya is said to have gone abroad. Another accused person Chhabi Lal Poudel is on the run.
