BAJURA, JUNE 04
Health workers in Bajura's Budhiganga Municipality are reaching out to villages to carry out COVID tests. According to Mayor Dipak Bikram Shah, health workers have been deployed to villages with antigen kits.
"As most people are still reluctant to come out and have them tested even when the contagion seems to have spread at the community level, health workers and lab technicians have been mobilised in villages to meet people at their homes and testing them if they're unwell," said Shah, health works are visiting each and every ward in the municipality.
As per the data, of some 234 persons tested so far, 116 have been tested for the virus.
"Everyone, if heard of being under the weather of late, is being tested by antigen method," said health coordinator Dipak Shah.
