DAMAULI: Netra Bikram Chand led CPN Maoist set ablaze a truck for defying a strike in Ghasikuwa of Tanahun district on Sunday.

According to SP Mohan Kumar Acharya, a team of seven to eight agitators torched the truck (Na 1 Ka 3360) this morning.

The driver of the truck has been identified as Dhal Bahadur Ale Magar (47).

The truck was heading towards Narayangarh from Pokhara.

Police informed that the truck was partially damaged by arson.

SP Acharya said that they have intensified a search operation to nab the wrongdoers.
