Dahal impatient with unification process

Chitwan, February 11

CPN-MC Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today said he wished the party unification move between the alliance partners CPN-MC and CPN-UML would take place within three days.

Speaking to mediapersons in Bharatpur, Chitwan, CPN-MC Chair Dahal claimed that he could take any kind of decision according to the need of the hour for the sake of the country and the people. “Soon after I return to Kathmandu, I will hold intensive discussion with the concerned stakeholders. I feel that the party unification process ought to take final shape within a few days instead of the process being extended,” said Dahal.

Earlier, Dahal had said that he might take any other leap if the ongoing political scenario related to the alliance failed to reach a conclusion, at a function in Chitwan yesterday. Following the remarks, various speculations have been made by leaders of both the forces about the unification campaign. He, however, urged mediapersons not to politically misinterpret his statement at this hour.
