The five delegates of CPN-Maoist Centre visiting India at the invitation of India's ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party to attend the 'Know BJP' programme began their first day with a visit to the BJP headquarters where they interacted with several BJP party leaders. They were shown a short documentary on the BJP's historical journey.
Bharatiya Janata Yuwa Morcha president interacted with the Maoist delegation. BJYM leaders highlighted the role of Indian youths in Indian politics.
During the discussion, they apprised the delegates about BJYM Cares, BJYM policy dialogues and other initiatives of BJYM for actively engaging the youth in politics.
Darshana Singh, National Vice-president, BJP Mahila Morcha and MP, Rajyasabh,a along with Tina Bentick also briefed the Maoist delegates about the history of the Mahila Morcha.
The recent flagship programmes like 'Poshan abhiyan,' 'Sneh yatra,' and '1 crore selfies with women beneficiaries' were also part of the discussion.
A five-member delegation of the ruling party CPN-Maoist Centre led by Vice-president of CPN-MC Pampha Bhusal left for India yesterday at the invitation of BJP. The delegation of the ruling party of Nepal embarked on visit to India from July 23 to 28. As a part of the 'Know BJP' initiative, the delegation was received by Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-Charge, Foreign Affairs, BJP.
The visit aims to enhance the party-to-party interaction and enable the delegation to understand the vision and functioning of the BJP.
The visit includes a two-day tour to Uttarakhand where the delegation will meet Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and other BJP state functionaries.
On the 43rd Foundation Day of Bharatiya Janata Party, National President Shri J P Nadda announced the 'KNOW BJP' initiative for the external outreach of the party.
