HETAUDA: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Bir Bahadur Balayar has said that the Nepali Congress-led government has convinced main opposition CPN-UML on the Constitution amendment proposal to give outlet to the Madhes crisis.

Addressing a gathering of district level cadres organised by Nepali Congress, in Hetauda of Makawanpur district this morning, Minister Balayar said the government is fully committed to conducting elections for federal and provincial parliaments. He said NC has directed its cadres to reach out to the doorsteps of people to win their hearts.

The Minister said that the main opposition should also manifest its nationalist stance into action when the country is in crisis.
