UML begins preparations for anti-amendment bill demonstration
KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML on Thursday has informed that the party started preparations for a mass demonstration it had planned against the registered Constitution amendment bill.
The main opposition is planning to hold the demonstration on January 6.
To manage the programme, a committee has been formed under the coordination of party's General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel.
The committee held its first meeting today has directed the party’s sister organisations and liaison forums in Kathmandu to come up with a work plan within two days.
The party has urged all its cadres, supporters, well-wishers and members of the general public to join the programme.
