CPN-UML national cadre meeting begins
CHITWAN: A two-day national cadre meeting of the ruling CPN-UML has begun in Sauraha of Chitwan district on Monday.
Cadres, central leaders and standing committee members of the party from 22 districts of Tarai- Madhes have gathered in the programme.
The programme will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister and Chairman of the party KP Sharma Oli.
General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal and Secretary Pradip Gyawali will present their reports in the meeting.
Pokharel will present the report about party policy, role of party in the constitution making process and steps for moving forward.
While, Bhusal will talk about geo-political situation of the country, state restructuring process and international relation.
Likewise, Gyawali will talk about socio-economic condition of Tarai and the policy that the party needs to adopt.
Meanwhile the party members will present the reports about the present condition of Tarai region.
The gathered members will be divided into eight different groups for the discussions, informed Yogesh Bhattari, chief of the Publicity Department of the party.
The conclusion of the meeting will be presented on Wednesday, Bhattarai said.
After the completion of the meeting, the party will launched a two- month long campaign to make the people conscious about the new constitution and party's policy.
