Speakers stress on creating employment opportunities inside the country

POKHARA:  Speakers have stressed on the need of creating employment opportunities in the country as Nepali migrant workers have been facing various problems in course of their employment in foreign lands.

President of District Coordination Committee in Kaski Bain Bahadur Chhetri, Kaski-chapter President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Dipendra Shrestha, and Human Rights Officer at the Nepal Human Rights Commission in Pokhara Mohan Kafle also expressed their views on the occasion.

Speaking at a programme organised in Pokhara on the occasion of International Migrants Day, they expressed that there would be sustainable development in the country if youth overseas could return to their homes with the establishment of political stability and development.

They further emphasised that collective initiative was essential to end the problems faced by Nepali migrant workers as well as make the foreign employment safe, systematic and disciplined.

The International Migrants Day Main Celebration Committee in Kaski had organised a rally from Srijana Chok to District Administration Office this morning.
