SOLUKHUMBU: The locals of Goli, Chaulakharka and Bhakanje of Solukhumbu district are grappling with caterpillar menace that started since August last year.

The insects have been infesting crops in the area.

Local Janak Jung Basnet said over a dozen goats and six buffaloes died due to the caterpillars.
