DADELDHURA: As many as 15 people were injured when a jeep met with an accident in Ganeshpur VDC of Dadeldhura district, on Wednesday.

According to Dadeldhura District Police Office, the Rumayal-bound jeep (Se 1 Ja 787) fell some 30 metres down the road and crashed at around 10:30 pm yesterday. The vehicle was trying to make a turn along a narrow road.

The ill-fated vehicle was ferrying 10 sacks of cement and more than a quintal of rod.

Two of the injured are in critical condition and are being treated at the Sub-Regional Hospital in Dadeldhura, police informed.
