Dahal inspects construction works of Gautam Buddha Int’l Airport
BUTWAL: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that construction entrepreneurs and project chiefs, who complete national pride projects and mega projects within the stipulated time, will be rewarded.
Leader Dahal said this while inspecting the ongoing construction works of Gautam Buddha International Airport at Bhairahawa today.
Stating that issues such as sub-standard construction, delayed completion and internal frictions were hampering the mega projects of the country, Prachanda assessed that construction of Gautam Buddha International Airport was satisfactory but there were more pressing works that required attention.
According to him, importance of the under-construction airport had increased since it is being built in the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
On the occasion, Project Officer Pradeep Adhikari shared that around 55 per cent of the total construction works of the airport had been undertaken so far.
Accompanying leader Dahal on the inspection were NCP (NCP) General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, Minister for Agriculture Chandra Prakash Khanal, former Deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, former minister Chabi Lal Bishwakarma, former Speaker of the House Onsari Gharti and provincial ministers, among others.
The leaders are scheduled to address the greetings exchange programme to be organised by NCP (NCP) in Butwal today on the occasion of the upcoming Tihar, Chhat and Nepal Sambat festivals.
