Kathmandu, June 15 :

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Head of the DANIDA, Carsten Staur, arrived in the capital on Wednesday on a two-day visit of Nepal.

During his visit, Staur will meet representatives of the Government of Nepal, House of Representatives, civil society, political parties and the international community and express Denmark’s support to the unfolding peace process and discuss how Denmark can best assist Nepal in the challenging period ahead.

He was received at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Danish ambassador to Nepal Finn Thilsted, senior officials at the Embassy of Denmark in Kathmandu, and high-level officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
