Nepalgunj, June 20:

A girl was killed and two others were injured this morning when a truck bound for Nepalgunj from Kohalpur hit them at Habaldapur in Banke.

Maya Chaudhari was killed, and Mina Chaudhari, 28, and another girl were hurt in the incident.

Locals blocked traffic along Nepalgunj-Kohalpur road demanding action against the guilty. “We have held the driver and assured locals to punish the guilty, but they have refused to let the traffic resume,” police said.
