Panchthar, March 13

The underground water extracted through deep boring system has been distributed to the dry areas of Kumyak Rural Municipality in Panchthar.

Minister of Finance Affairs and Planning of Province 1 Indra Bahadur Aangbo inaugurated the drinking water project.

The feasibility study for extracting drinking water through deep boring has been successful. The provincial government had allocated Rs 30 lakh for the project. The work was carried out by Mechi Construction.

Inaugurating the project, Minister Aangbo said drinking water would be supplied to Panchthar, Tehrathum, Dhankuta, and Sankhuwasabha within a year.
