Khotang, December 2:

Khotang District Education Office (DEO) has nixed the recruitment of four teachers appointed in Ramche Niketan Lower Secondary School at Batase Village Development Committee.

DEO annuled the appointments as they were made without making any vacancy announcement.

District Education Officer Chudamani Phayal said the appointments were cancelled after the school was found recruiting three teachers in lower secondary and one in primary under the relief quota allocated by the DEO without publishing advertisement for an open competition.
