Deuba to take initiative to exchange IC notes
BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba said that he would take an initiative to ease the process to exchange the Indian currency notes of 500 and 1,000, adding that Nepalis holding such currencies were facing difficulties to exchange them.
Speaking at a programme here today, the former Prime Minister added that he would hold talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the Indian Ambassador to Nepal in this connection.
In another note, Deuba urged party cadres to be prepared for elections.
