Deuba urges CM Poudel not to relocate capital of Province 3
HETAUDA: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba held a meeting with Chief Minister of Province 3 Dormani Poudel here this morning.
During the meeting, leader Deuba urged the Chief Minister not to shift the province capital from Hetauda to another location. Hetauda was announced the provisional capital of Province 3 by the erstwhile government headed by Deuba.
Likewise, a delegation comprising House of Representatives member from Hetauda Birodh Khatiwada and District Coordination Committee Makawanpur's chief Raghunath Khulal met leader Deuba today and requested him to play the role as the leader of the main opposition party to keep Hetauda the province capital.
Meanwhile, the NC President today laid foundation stone of a Shiva Temple to be constructed at Sanopokhara of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-5 with the initiative of locals. According to social worker Madhav Parajuli, the Hindu temple is going to be constructed at a cost of around Rs 1.1 million donated by the locals.
