BAITADI: Teachers, students and parents have been playing Deusi Bhailo (a traditional event organised during Tihar festival) to collect money to run local school at Maharudra VDC in the district.

Teacher Birendra Bhatta said that money collected from this event will be spent in the operation of Jagadamba Higher Secondary School.

He said that a total of around Rs 67,000 has been collected so far. Started from November 9, the programme will get on till November 14.
