‘Development doesn’t take place overnight’

Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Bhanubhakta Dhakal today said it would take time for development activities to gain momentum.
Addressing a programme organised at Birendranagar of Patharisanischare Municipality, Morang, Minister Dhakal said Patharisanischare Municipality would set an example for other municipalities to carry out development work.
He stated that he was quite aware of the problems faced by the people in Sanischare area.
Minister Dhakal informed that Bakraha River dam was being constructed as a national project. “I am sure development will take place but people should keep patience as development does not take place overnight,” he reiterated.
Further, Minister Dhakal stated that the incumbent government was aware of all the problems in the country and would address all of them one by one in the days to come.
On a different note, Minister Dhakal held that as many as 16 different laws were passed in the last one month alone. He expressed confidence that country would be made prosperous and developed within five years of tenure of the KP Sharma-led government.
