DHANKUTA: A man died after being shot by a bullet in Dandagaun of Dhankuta district on Friday midnight.

The Dhankuta District Police Office informed that the deceased has been identified as Prem Bhandari (32) of Belhara.  He had died on the spot.

He was shot by Khadga Bahadur Gurung of Batakharka, Dandagaun-1.

Police said that Gurung had shot Bhandari after he found the latter at his daughter-in-law’s house at around midnight.

The DPO has reached the incident site for further investigation.
